I personally think this song talk about those people who getting bullied or mistreated by society and the rage that's bottled inside of them and how it can develop into a serious problem by saying (you're ripping it up) the singer encourage those people to release that rage in a healthy way by saying (well my brother let me show you a better way get your game face on because it's time to play) and also points out that violence has and always will be a part of our lives by saying (bring the violence it's significant to the life if you ever known anyone).

I think that this song is about how violent the world we live in is and how people like to cause other people pain for no reason and how David doesn't won't be part of it.

I think it has to do with inward anger and David telling the listener to release it in a useful way, and not release the way they were back in 2000 which was violence through government violence.

It's about an outward release of all your hatred and anger inside, and putting it all to use.
