Hollywood Undead: Bullet Meaning

Album cover for Bullet album cover

Bullet Lyrics

My legs are dangling off the edge
The bottom of a bottle is my only friend
I think I'll slit my wrists again and I'm
Gone, gone, gone, gone

My legs are dangling off the edge
A stomach full of pills didn't work again
I'll put a bullet in...

Its about me and how I spoke to one of the band members and he told he is father had committed suicide and he didn't want me to do what his dad did so he made me this song

Thank you very much Charlie scene for talking me out of committing suicide!!!

I think it is about young men and women having suicidal thoughts. And that this can be stopped hence "so if I survive then I'll see you tomorrow" And also how young men and women have the thoughts about their life going nowhere and they decide to take the easy way out with suicide.

I believe that it is a song about one of the group members who at one point in their life had family issues and had trouble living through his life so hence he began to cut himself and drink and take downers and then it came to a point where he just wanted to end it all where as it came to jumping off a building or trying to take pill or shooting themselves J3T's daughter at the end symbolizes that the group member who went through his suicidal phase is trying to say its not worth killing yourself and that you have a life to live ahead of it so don't end it now

They each had a past, and as you can see one of them has suicidal issues. Most of this album is about the rebirth of the band. This song is about their past suicidal lives, hiding from their parents, and hopefully moving on to something better. Yes this J3T's daughter. And i personally think that she sings the part of their movement from these ideas. and finally living a happy life.

This song has nothing to do with an actual act of suicide, all of the above people think "THEY TALK ABOUT SUICIDE SO THAT MUST BE WHAT ITS ABOUT" when in reality, it's about the innocence of children, and the cruel world in which they grow up, and eventually see.

It's about someone who wants to kill themself, but they just can't come to do it and they are debating whether they should do it or not.

The Song provides many details about Scene wanting to commit suicide, also hinting at the the fact the Charlie Scenes father himself committed suicide.

    I disagree with that interpretation.
Whether it's true or not, I believe that it's about this person thinking about jumping off the edge and ending it, but the hope in their child(Hence the little girl at the end), stops them from doing it..Please don't start any arguments with me about it :D
