Ur So Gay Lyrics

I hope you hang yourself with your H&M scarf
While jacking off listening to Mozart
You bitch and moan about LA
Wishing you were in the rain reading Hemingway
You don't eat meat
And drive electrical cars
You're so indie rock it's almost an...

It's about Katy Perry dating a strait man that acts like a stereotypical gay man. It's really offensive, rude, and petty. But it has a good melody sooo.....

I think KATY PERRY is describing the unreal side of this Individual that She loves. But He's like an old revolutionary crypto acting Jew, who still listens to Mozart and reads Hemingway. But who's also unreasonably out of order, that loved and still loves to act the homosexual Gay fantasies on Anyone that's watching Him put on His SPF 4 for protection. So He could stay alive, to live out or act meekly His radical progressive anti-Logos desires on Anyone that's in love to be in the Sun. Anotherwords I believe KATY PERRY is saying to this Individual who She might have fallen in love with, why are you such an unreasonable fake, phony and a fraud. By acting like a Gay homo in real life when you're actually not.

This is a mean spirited and offensive rant about an ex-boyfriend who didn't live up to her lofty expectations. Describing his behaviour as "gay" is clearly intended to insult and humiliate him. It's a nasty little song. End of.

Everyone who says that it is rude to say all this stuff about gay people are right! Telling people their gay is rude and mean and stupid and pathetic. If you don't believe in people being themselves and allowing themselves to be gay then you're not being yourself. No offense :) !!

To the anonymous comment posted on Apr. 9th, 2011- Thank you for having a brain! I completely agree!! People can say that the song just talks about stereotypes.... but calling someone "gay" is STILL offensive to both them and people that REALLY are gay!!!
To the anonymous comment posted on Jul. 3rd, 2011- the end of your post says, "Guys who show emotion are good, but be careful not to show too much!" So basically your saying that in order to have your girlfriend like you and truly BELIEVE you're straight, you have to be a robot, only tell her the feelings that she wants to hear, and conceal all the rest of your feelings in an emotional prison...? That just doesn't sound right.
To the anonymous comment posted on Nov. 12th, 2011- let me just say I'm SO sorry! There are so many insulting things in the media and all around, and I admire that you're able to be proud of, and stand up for, who you are. Someday society will accept that being gay will not make the world explode!!!!!! :)

I personally do not care for this song: The term "gay" is overused to often. I am bisexual and find it offensive. There could have been a better way to say it

Haven't all of us girls been in this situation? I know I have! I think she is talking about a boy who she likes, but he just says and does things that are so..gay sometimes, yet is still straight. Guys who show emotion are good, but be careful not to show too much!

This interpretation has been marked as poor. view anyway

I don't think that she actually meant he was gay, she just used it as a revenge tactic to get back at him for hurting her in some way

This is a song about a boy who acts more feminine than a regular teenage boy, and most boys like that are stereotyped as 'gay'. What she's saying is basically, "why did it have to be ME, of all people, who fell in love with this boy?"

Katy is talking about a guy who acted like he was homosexual, but he was straight. it's not meant to be offensive to gays. she was saying that he acted like a gay guy. is it a little stereotypical? yes, but i dont think it is offensive. i am straight, but i have a few gay friends and they say that most gay guys act just like the stereotype says.
