Billie Eilish: Six Feet Under Meaning
Song Released: 2016
Six Feet Under Lyrics
But I remember you
Don't come back, it won't end well
But I wish you'd tell me too
Our love is six feet under
I can't help but wonder
If our grave was watered by the rain
Would roses bloom?
Could roses...

#1 top rated interpretation:The relationship is over, dead and buried, "six feet under"... yet, she is lost in memories, fantasizes, missing the person and their touch. Often broken relationships are "killed" due lack of care/ recklessness. Knows should not try again, but fancies the idea that the other person would ask and deep down. She wants some form of a beautiful relationship to bloom from it all in time and entertains the idea that something could still come from the relationship at some point if it was nurtured.
RAIN – Recognize, Allow, Investigate, Nurture – guides us in bringing mindfulness and compassion to difficult emotions.

#2 top rated interpretation:“ I don’t know who I am, because of losing you I’ve lost myself again. I know if you came back we would try things again but we both know how it ends. But I’m willing to try again. Our love is dead and is now buried six feet under the ground but I can’t help but think something might come out of this. I know at one time something did. Could it again? Retracing our steps is overwhelming and floods me with emotions. How could you let it all go? All of theses memories, these promises, things we shared and yet you are cold and act as if it means nothing to you, as if I mean nothing to you. I don’t know who I am without you. I need your help because you make me feel like me. But I don’t want to replace what we had with something that ends worse. Help...”

#3 top rated interpretation:In my opinion she is talking about how even though she lost herself she will always remember this one person and although she knows that if the person came back it won't end well she still loves him and their love is six feet under...

Based solely on the first line itself, 'Help, I lost myself again', it seems as if Billie is hinting that the person she is portraying through the song, whether it is herself or someone else entirely, is often finding themselves falling for people who make them/her change entirely. Perhaps she changed herself to fit his expectations only to lose who she once was before, for the worse, it sounds, based on the lyrics. However Billie/the person she is portraying can't help but wonder what would happen if she let him back into her life. Would they have a love story that would satisfy ever hopeless romantics deepest fantasies? Would 'roses bloom', metaphorical roses, which would seem to imply that their once dead love had came back to life. Perhaps Billie wonders if the love he had for her was still there somewhere deep inside of him and though she got hurt, she wants to feel that love again. She wants to see if 'roses' will 'bloom'.

From my point,She lost herself in finding that one person, back then who've now betrayed her but now her love is six feet under that means its burried deep down in the grave of time and also she wants it all again and she wants that love to bloom again like it did before she wants to cherish every moment again but cant and i guess by rain she meant her love and care by grave she meant the past and the rose can be her relation with that person. That maybe if i would love you the same way would the love bloom again.anyways i love the song its amazing

This interpretation has been marked as poor. view anyway

From my point of view, this song is basically about how one person gave her so much to remember, during the good times, but have now betrayed her. For me this song is very relatable, because in the end no matter the how much everything got ruined, she still wants it all back. She also feels like everything that happened is her fault and how one thing could ruin your everything.
-
I think she is lost, and doesn't know who she was, and all she can remeber is the Guy.
-
I interpret in my perspective as she lost her self but she still remembers who she was before a heartbreak then she starts to bloom
