   (Oh my gawd this is my all time fav song). So, it’s about Billie being in a relationship with a guy and she likes him, but he doesn’t have much of an interest in her, so she wishes he’s gay so she doesn’t have to be in a relationship with him anymore. I relate to the complete opposite to the song though. I like somebody but he’s gay so “I just kinda wish you weren’t gay” is normally what I hear from this song to make it relatable tho.    this song is better from the perspective of a gay person. i know the true meaning of the song, but i'd rather think of it like this: a girl who likes another girl, a STRAIGHT girl. or gender swapped, yk, a boy who likes a straight boy. "i just kinda wish you were gay" doesnt that honestly make more sense?? maybe i'm just really gay and rejected.
