I don't see how the persecution of gay people falls into the song... God made each of us a certain way for a purpose and its not for us to judge on others, thats His job. I am gay and Christian.

The song is catchy, but I don't really get it. I thought I would get it more after the video came out but I didn't so until I hear a rational explanation from her mouth I guess I'll still listen to it.

One day she WILL have to answer to GOD IN THE CLOUDS, for what she is brainwashing people with.

No matter if she likes it or not on judgement day, EVERY KNEE WILL BOW, AND EVERY TONGUE WILL CONFESS

Whether lady gaga likes it or not she'll be on her knees like the rest of us.

she says these songs as a publicity stunt. she wnats you to be interested in the dual meaning of it so we all will buy her album. this is the same thing Kanye west and 50 cent did 4 years ago they trick you into buying thier albums. atleast thats how i feel about it. people get to freely express themselves and if we dont accept what they are saying then we should not listen to it and leave it alone. anything in any song can be protrayed as against or for God if we look deep enough. only lady gaga knows what she means. we will not be judged on if we listen to this song we are judged on what we believe we are right. sorry if you dont agree or are offended.

If u feel that Lady Gaga is offending you or religion with her music, stop listening and analyzing nonsense here, seems like each and every phrase in the song has a double meaning...if u feel that she's out to destroy the world and religion then I don't understand how u spend so much time analyzing the music that's filled with hate messages, really don't you people have anything better to do than spreading jealousy???
Some people make it in the music industry and become the best of the best and at some point will fall, I don't see why it's a problem that Gaga reached stardom...get a life, stop listening to Lady Gaga if u gonna post hate msgs here and do something with your life (stop jealousy!!!)

When I first heard this song, I was speechless. This woman needs some serious prayer.

How could some of you people claim your Christians, but not care about her salvation... Cleary she needs the Lord in her life if she's clinging to Judas or whatever she said..

    seriously?!
who cares even if she is a devil worshipper (which i highly doubt)...
people should be entitled to their own beliefs no matter how wrong you think they are, personally i think all you christian/catholic preachers should shut up.
i respect that you believe in a God and Jesus, but that shouldn't mean in any way shape or form that every one else should as well...
gaga is entitled to have her say and she was just using the story of judas as a comparision, she's catholic and she doesn't tell me how great god is - which i love. she just tries to relate it to our life which actually sits a lot better with me...
for anyone to say she's trying to bring down the christian establishment is just rediculous!

i don't really know what to believe anymore. its like 50 50. 50% that i believe shes a total lunatic who praises satan. and 50% that believes shes just an amazing artist trying to prove something in her songs by means of originality.

I believe she's making a statement where people can understand from their point of view, otherwise the artist herself would have explained the meaning of the song from the beginning. The intent was for you to be open to many possibilities of what it means in other words endless explanations not subjected to just interpretations. It's to make you think for yourself no subjected to > " oh,she's talking about her ex-boyfriend<. Be creative artist like answers that they didn't think about that you might say.

For the people saying if you don't like the lyrics then don't listen to it...honestly I just think that most of us who truly are Christian and like the song just want to know what she is trying to say to make sure that it is ok to listen to it.....I can't tell if she is on gods side or not

Let's just enjoy music and not think too deeply into interpretation please? If it is in direct relation to conspiracy theories and the end of the world - cool, let's spend these last months or years wisely, yes? If it is just a song - let's rock out!

You guys are funny conspiracy theorists. She is Lady effin Gaga. She wants attention, what she gonna do? Write a song with continuous bibble reference. Then say its about an evil ex boyfriend of hers. And what are you guys gonna do? Freakout and fall in zee trap. Pretty simple.

    Hey People,
I enjoyed reading all the different point of views.
But can I just say, in the end it’s just a song...I know it’s obvious it has another meaning behind it...

I personally feel like the song it about a torn heart, one side is in love with the person that hurts you.(The Bad side that is a thrill/Risky) The other in-love or trying to love the right person(The Good side, which allot of people..Don’t see)

And I think to help her fame; Lady Gaga used Judas's and Jesus for controversy and media attention... After all she says 'Fame Whore'

lady gaga is began her music venture with a plan of action. some of the best musicians sell their soul for fame because they know if they can only do one minuscule act towards peace with their power it is worth it.

this song (like bad romance) is about gaga's relationship with the force of evil known as the Music Industry. she is in bed with an industry that uses music to keep us doped on sex, drugs, money, partying, carelessness, following the crowd, etc.

while lady gaga perpetuates such characteristics in songs like "just dance" and "beautiful, dirty, rich", we can also note that she has a different side to her that separates her from almost all other artists in the industry today. gaga is very straight forward when it come to loving yourself, this is shown in her interviews as well as the song "born this way". but this is where she begins to break her contract, for the Industry does not want people to love and be themselves, for in this their whole way of making money is destroyed.

think of judas as the Music Industry, and Jesus as the people, or lady gaga who want to save the people. she wants us to know that to keep her fame she must continue her provocative image that resembles the evil of judas, at the same time she is doing everything she can to free us from our destructive ways of life that result in hate, pollution of the earth, and pollution of the mind.

love is always on gaga's mind but she cannot show it fully because she is still constricted in he confines of the mainstream. think gaga has an opinion of two on war? politics? oil? she does but the industry would dump her if she spoke her mind (gay rights was definitely and huge risk for her). in conclusion, her virtue is Jesus, for she is doing everything she can for peace, but she still clings the the skull and cross bones of Judas, for that is where the fame is.

Lady Gaga has used "Judas" as away to explain her relationship experiences. She isn't an anti-Christ and she isn't going against Christianity or the church. She is using her religion and beliefs to describe how she feels towards her past boyfriends. she using the betrayal of Jesus by Judas and Simon peter as a metaphor by saying that she chooses the wrong people (in a way evil people) to be in a relationship with and as a result of her poor decision they continuously hurt her and she is "in love with Judas" so she continues to forgive them.

Don't be so judgmental, Gaga stands up for everything that she believes is right, she is an activist for people who are strong and weak, and as she says "I'm just trying to change the world one sequin at a time"
