Why are some of you so pro Gaga? It doesn't matter what she sings, she is blasphemous, nuff said! Her videos are good enough to show that if you're deaf or know nothing about Christianity! She can adopt 50 Haitian kids in the future, she will still be blasphemous in her heart.

I don't get it. I understand the meaning...but in general, I don't get the hype about her. She sucks. Give me some Michael Jackson, CCR, or some Nat King Cole.

I think that Gaga could be doing either (religion hate vs metaphor for her life). I can easily see Gaga using such a weird metaphor for her past/love life, especially after hearing a rumor she's Catholic? Don't quote me on the Catholic part, I don't have my facts there. I think the important part about this song, is whatever it means to you, its a conversation starter, and what I love most of all, is that I have the right to say what I feel about it. I'm a Christian, and I think Gaga is weird, but I certainly don't shun her name from my house or think she's going straight to hell. In all honesty, I love gays, they're some of my best friends. My only thing about them is I feel bad that most of them aren't Christian and based on my relationship with God, I know they are going to hell without his help. I don't see why Christians are always telling people you can't be gay and go to heaven. "gayness" is just another sin in the bible, christian murderers go to heaven, liars go to heaven, ____ goes to heaven. Fill in your blank and you can still get in, all you need is a real relationship with Christ. That is the ONLY thing that will ever do anything to get you in heaven.

in bad romance she says "rah rah" at the beginning. most people think its just random sounds but rah is another name for the devil which she calls god because it is her god. the devil left god, judas betrayed Jesus, shes in love with judas shes in love with the devil. in conclusion shes a satan worshiper.

ok listen people, heres a simple fix! if you dont like the way she is or the lyrics that she sings DO NOT LISTEN TO IT! simple as that! she is actually really creative with using references like these, she is not that bubble gum bull sh*t like miley cyrus or justing beiber. she actually cares about her song meanings, and she just used the judas betrayal as a reference, she didn't demean it at all! And i bet all of you are not perfect out there, so what gives you the right to judge her just because of her words! THATS NOT VERY CHRISTIAN LIKE TO JUDGE OTHERS!

    To the person who stated;

"For those people out there who say she is a Christian, think about what she sings about and how she dresses. No real Christian would do those things."

As a Christian myself, I never judge or attempt to justify someones faith. That would be hypocritical. At the end of the day, God is the ultimate gatekeeper, the only judge - not us. We are ALL sinners and one sin is not greater nor less than another. Who are you to say if someone is a Christian or not? Regardless or their actions.

This is a country of free speach where now art intertwines with religion. Just because we disagree or feel oppossed does not mean we have the right to throw the stone.

You know you're all being insane right? If you are gonna be so religious about this then you really shouldn't be listening to lady gaga at all cuz you should technically consider everything she sings about blasphemous. There is sex out of wedlock, homosexuality, etc. all things that are essentially cardinal sins according to your beloved catholic church. Either embrace it, or don't give it the time of day, god knows she has enough fans and the loss of some of you would be trivial, probably appreciated actually. You are over reacting because if you paid any attention to literature at all you would realize that this is not just a metaphor in which she is trying to put herself in the shoes of or on par with Jesus or Judas, but it is also and allusion. an allusion to the BIBLE. Therefore, she is actually paying respect to the Bible as she has found it appropriate to depict something important enough to her to have written a song about it.

if you actually look in the video clip, she is with jesus the whole time, and the twelve disciples are played out as a bike gang, with leather jackets and names on their backs. in the video clip you can obviously see how 'im still in love with judas baby' she plays out how she is torn between them. in one scene she holds a gun to judas face by jesus command [i think?] but it shoots out lipstick and she smudges it on his face, then breaks down that she cant bring herself to kill him, because shes still in love with him. maybe the song is about the relationship WITH god. metophorically speaking, jesus is good and judas is bad. evey person on this earth, whether you beleive in jesus or not, always struggles with deciding on what is the right or wrong thing to do. for example, for christians, we know its wrong to sin, but we are always going to face temptation, we just want it so bad. so all we want to do is the wrong thing. im probably wrong, but this is just my interpretation.

Look people, I think that she has chosen that scenario quite well, she is the person who is good ie. Like Jesus, and this person who is bad like Judas. I have to agree about the fact of betrayal 3 times that was Peter. Aka Rocky. This is NOT some anti- Christ thing, and also I think that she is trying to tell us that we are all human and embrace who we are, and not to run away to evil or anything bad like that. Lets face it the people in the church have fone bad too, so why are we all sticking up for the church? Anyone can say prayers in their back garden! Go Lady Gaga! :p

The song is clearly a metaphor. A very clever one in fact. Problem is, some people are not intelligent enough to to understand this. This is art not the end of the world.
If you cannot appreciate a persons art then listen to something else.
Instead of complaining on here, use your time constructively.

I totally agree with #3 above: anonymous 13:13 "Hey commenter at 9:25, I have read my bible. And it was not Judas who denied Jesus three times, it was Simon/Peter. It was the same night that Judas betrayed Jesus that this occurred. If you are going to attack people please be correct. It gives a bad name to all Christians when you are so hypocritical." And I'm pretty certain Gaga knows this as well because there is reference to it in the video when she pats Peter on the back. I think there are MANY different interpretations one could derive from this song. 1. A clear representation of how all of us want to be good (Jesus) but cling to our dark side (Judas). "I wanna love you,
But something's pulling me away from you. Jesus is my virtue, And Judas is the demon I cling to." 2. The representation of freedom of speech "In the most Biblical sense, I am beyond repentance Fame hooker, prostitute wench, vomits her mind But in the cultural sense I just speak in future tense Judas kiss me if offensed, Or wear an ear condom next time." If you don't like it, don't listen. 3. Relationship issues, particularly in the instance of abuse and/or picking the wrong guy over and over.

I DID LIKE WHATTHE FIRST ONE SAID EXCEPT:

    "In the most Biblical sense,
    I am beyond repentance
Fame hooker, prostitute wench, vomits her mind
    But in the cultural sense
I just speak in future tense
    Judas kiss me if offensed,
Or wear ear condom next time"

SHES TALKING ABOUT MARY MAGDALENE...IF YOU SEE THE VIDEO YOU WILL SEE.
mary was always with jesus and because of that she was always seen as a whore, prostitute, hooker etc.
    she always caused contraversy
and in the end of the video they stoneher..just like they did with mary
