   It explains a really toxic relationship. She is being mentally or even physically abused and she feels so much happier away from them but she wishes this wasnt true. She knows he doesnt care but feels trapped in the relationship and just feels like screaming in her pain (hence the screaming in the backround towards the end) he always blames it on her when its really his fault and he knows it. She wishes she could explain her pain better but she just cant without putting it so bluntly. He thinks that he scares her but shes growing stronger and is fighting back. He never listens to her and only his friends. He treats her badly by talking shit, possibly spreading rumors, even though he was her everything as she states. She is tired and doesnt want to be guilt tripped or have her time wasted. She basically gives evidence on why hes a bad boyfriend by "ruining everything good"

   I think that she lived through a hellish period of a toxic relationship, and she reflected her experience in this unique song and found the appropriate melodies to express the difficulties she went through.
   I keep this song on my phone and I don't even think about getting rid of it.
   Every melody, every rhythm, every word expresses the bad relationship she was in. If you notice at the beginning of the song how calm and stable her tone of voice is, as if she is maintaining her mood or something like that, after a few seconds the tone turned sharp, and it seems as if she is revolting, so she is angry, upset and sad, because she is tired of continuing her relationship with him.
   In the tone of her angry revolutionary voice, there was some sadness, a lot of blame, and a touch of despair .
   "When I'm away from you, I'm happier than ever" : she feels happier when she s away from him coz he s toxic
   "Wish I could explain it better" : she feels so happy till she can't find better words to describe it .
   "Give me a day or two to think of something clever
   To write myself a letter
   To tell me what to do" : she will give more time to herself coz he seemed like an energy vampier and coz she felt like she gave him more time than he ever deserved.

   Or do you skip my avenue?" : he is not treating her right , he seemed like he really don't give a shit about her , so she kept asking to show how shitty he is .
   "When you said you were passing through
   Was I even on your way?" : she ask if he see her as the chosen one or the women he wants , she ask him if she is enough for him .
   "I knew when I asked you to be cool about what I was telling you" : she knew alot of things when she asked him to be cool , maybe coz he was stressing her out or didn't trust her while she was trying to show him something .
   "You'd do the opposite of what you said you'd do and I'd end up more afraid" : as i said .
   "Don't say it isn't fair
   You clearly weren't aware that you made me miserable" : this explains what i just said .
   "You call me again, drunk in your Benz
   Driving home under the influence
   You scared me to death, but I'm wasting my breath
   'Cause you only listen to your fucking friends" : *tch* what a shitty bf .
   He scared her but she said that she s just wasting her breath which means that he don't listen to her words or mind her at all coz he was listening to his fucking friends instead of listening to her , which break her trust in him .

   "'Cause I'd never treat me this shitty

   "'Cause that shit's embarrassing, you were my everything" she feels so embarrassed about the way he was treating her .
   
   I did not complete the translation of the rest of the words because the meanings are clear. This song is full of meanings and feelings and deserves to be heard by the whole world. This song is perfect for me .

   It's about a toxic relationship. She was in love with someone who didn't treat her right. "When I'm away from you, I'm happier than ever" in this line she explains that whenever he is away from her, she is happy because the way he treats her when they are together makes her sad. "I don't relate to you, because I'd never treat me this shitty" He treated her poorly, comparing to how she treated him as her everything while he didn't even make any basic effort.

   The song is from what I can understand is that the person she was with gave no effort into the relationship and was blaming her and whenever they were apart she was happier being apart. How often the person disappointed her yet she still stayed with them.

   I really love this song especially the twist it adds more flavor to the song. the fact that her biggest fear was drowning and she did that in her recent mv,she really is something. well keep doing what you do billie,we love it,keep suprising us and keep things exciting :)
